We ordered our drinks and they took over 10 minutes to arrive. The server was rude and unfriendly to say the least. We tried to ask her about the menu and I thought I had a dish there in the past I was trying to explain it to her and she said she had never heard of it and she had worked there over 10 years, like I was really bothering her. Our dinners perch and the seafood pasta were unflavorful and by no means fresh seafood. Scallops were very undercooked and some of the mussels were not opened. The perch tasted like it was frozen and sprinkled with flour and fried. No flavor at all. We will never eat here again. We rather go somewhere the food and service is good.

Olympic Tavern is a great place to go for a good meal, or to enjoy a cold one after the game. They have a quality menu with some really great choices. The french dip is excellent.

Make a reservation and you will be more than excited to experience a meal at the Olypic on Rockford's much forgotten west side. This family- owned restaurant has some of the best food in Rockford. Pull up a chair next to the fireplace and enjoy the atmosphere! Have a drink and relax!
